Getting started with PottyOps

A ten-minute walkthrough of your first workspace, your first customer, and your first import.

Getting started with PottyOps

This is the fastest path from signup to first value.

Step 1: Create your workspace

Go to the signup page and create a workspace. Pick a name your team will recognize — for example, "Acme Portable Sanitation" — and use the email you want to use as the workspace owner.

Step 2: Add your first customer

Open Customers and click Add customer. Fill in the name, an email, and a phone number. Save.

Step 3: Add a unit

Open Assets and click Add unit. Enter a unit identifier (like "U-1042") and the unit type (standard, ADA, handwash, trailer, etc.).

Step 4: Import the rest of your data

Open Settings → Import Assistant. Download the starter templates for customers, jobsites, and assets, fill them in, and upload them. The assistant will detect the source format and stage rows for review.

Step 5: Pick a plan

When you are ready, open Pricing and choose Core or Pro. Core is the office layer (customers, units, jobsites, imports, billing review). Pro adds field workflows (dispatch, GPS, customer portal, route sheets, automated reminders).

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get a new PottyOps workspace set up?
About ten minutes for your first customer and unit, and a few hours to import your full existing data using the import assistant.
Do I need to enter a credit card to sign up?
No. You can sign up, import data, and explore Core for free. You will only be asked to pay when you choose to upgrade to Pro.
